Book and Bloom - August
Our favorite bi-monthly event combines everything we love—books, creativity, and great company. Each session, we read a book in advance, come together to talk about it, and make a fun, themed craft to take home.
For August, we’ll be discussing The Teacher by Frieda McFadden—a gripping, twist-filled read that promises lots to talk about. After the discussion, we’ll decorate unique vases using dried flowers, book pages, and other creative touches. Choose your vase style and create something beautiful that can be used as a flower vase or a votive holder. It’s always a cozy, creative night full of laughter, conversation, and inspiration.

Note: If you are purchasing the book from us, we will put it behind the counter once we receive your order and you can come pick it up during our bookstore hours!

Ashley Campbell Book Launch and Author Signing
Ashley Campbell is a photographer, writer, and lifelong adventure seeker. She is founder of the blog Under the Sycamore and has explored 31 countries, most with her favorite travel partners: her husband, Chris, and their five kids. Her book, I’ve Never Been Here Before, chronicles the journey she and her family took over the course of a year traveling to 20 different countries. Ashley Campbell is also a photographer and documented the travels with beautiful and bright photos.

Flower Arrangement Workshop
Join us as we create a whimsical arrangement in water! Each guest will be lead through the process of creating a beautiful flower arrangement by one of our skilled florists. You’ll learn how to prepare the stems, arrange artfully in the vase, and how to make them last. And the best part is you get to go home with not only a piece of art, but also the knowledge to do it again! Tickets are $60 and include everything you need.

The Craft Collective: Charm School
Charm School is in session! Join us Thursday July 17th for the ultimate girls’ night with the Craft Collective. We’re making charm or rainbow stone necklaces, laughing a lot, and getting our sparkle on. All supplies included - just bring your bestie (or come make some new ones!) All Ages Crafty Bookclub
Looking for something to do with your book-loving daughter? Join us on Monday July 14th for a crafty bookclub that’s perfect for all ages! We’ll be discussing the Love Haters by Katherine Center and making pressed dried flower bookmarks! This is the perfect experience for moms to share with their daughters. Individual tickets are $25 or you can purchase two tickets for $40.

Zuri Louis is a local author who wrote and illustrated her children’s book, I See Color, which is based off her poem of the same name. Book and Bloom - Arrangement Workshop

We’ll be diving into Abby Jimenez’s heartfelt romance, Say You’ll Remember Me, a story that explores second chances, love, and the power of personal transformation. The Empyrean Series Trivia
Do you think you have the knowledge of a scribe? Put yourself to the test for the Empyrean trivia night! We’ll cover all three books by Rebecca Yarros- Fourth Wing, Iron Flame, and Onyx Storm. Grab some friends and be prepared for a fun filled night of trivia, dragons, sparkly drinks, and laughs. Maybe even be prepared to walk the parapet to have a chance to win! And remember this is all in good fun, so come equipped with a good attitude and a desire for community.
Heather Dubree Author Signing & Book Release
Heather Dubree is a photographer in Oklahoma who has a love of books, plants and romanticizing her life whenever possible. She lives with her husband Ryan, their son and assorted animal companions, who offered their moral support when writing her books.
